The first annual Distinguished Nurse Recognition
Program, “The Rose of Care Award”, is a search for
local
RNs who are visionaries and innovators, break barriers, blaze new
beginnings and who have made an outstanding contribution to our
community.
- SELECTION: A selection
committee comprised of
community and health care leaders will review the applications in an
anonymous manner.
- FINALISTS: Once selected,
the finalists are
personally interviewed by members of our selection committee and
honored during a gala event scheduled for January 29, 2008.
- PRIZES: The Rose of Care
recipient will be
announced the evening of the gala and receive an all expenses paid
Hadassah Nurse's Mission trip to Israel and a pin designed by Jeweler,
Mark Loren. Two nurses will be recognized as runners-up and awarded a
"Rose of Care" certificate and a one year membership to a professional
nursing organization of their choice.
